The Ginn sur Mer Classic is a PGA Tour golf tournament that was announced in June 2007 as a replacement for the Running Horse Golf Championship, another proposed new tournament that collapsed before its first outing. The PGA Tour and Ginn Resorts have agreed to a five year deal under which the tournament will be played at Ginn Resorts properties. In 2007, it was played at Tesoro Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida as part of a plan to rotate the event among Ginn properties. Future plans are to move the tournament to the Ginn Sur Mer resort currently under construction on Grand Bahama island in The Bahamas.
