Back In Your Arms is a studio album / compilation by French singer Amanda Lear, first released in Italy in 1998. It combines re-recordings of nine of her best known hits from her career as a disco diva in the 70s with selected tracks from her 1995 comeback "Alter Ego", most of the latter appearing in newly remixed form, adding a previously unreleased cover version of Louis Prima's swing classic "Just A Gigolo". Despite the fact that the album notes state that this track was recorded specifically for this release it most likely dates back to 1990 or 1991.
The "Back In Your Arms" album which was moderately successful on its original release was later to be re-launched on the German market by BMG-Ariola as "Amanda '98 - Follow Me Back In My Arms" with a revised tracklisting. Since the company held the rights to the original recordings they replaced some of the re-interpretations with these as well as adding key album tracks not included on its Italian predecessor.
