"World Affairs" is a quarterly international affairs journal published by Heldref Publications. "World Affairs", which, in one form or another, has been published since 1837, was re-launched in January 2008 as an entirely new publication.

"World Affairs" is a small journal that argues the big ideas behind U.S. foreign policy. The magazine's editors celebrate and encourage heterodoxy and open debate. Each quarterly issue contains articles written by professors, journalists, scholars, military officers, and government officials from around the world, offering diverse perspectives on global issues and U.S. foreign policy. Christopher Hitchens, Robert Kagan, Peter Beinart, George Packer, P.J. O'Rourke, David Rieff, and Andrew Bacevich have all written for the journal.

"World Affairs" is headquartered in Washington, D.C.
