Maria High School is a private, Roman Catholic, all-girls high school in Chicago, Illinois. It is located near Marquette Park and Holy Cross Hospital and is within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago.

Background

Maria High School was established as St. Casimir Academy in 1911 by the Sisters of Saint Casimir in Chicago Lawn. Due to increased demand, a bigger school was built and opened in 1952 as Maria High School.
