Westmoreland County, Connecticut

Westmoreland County, Connecticut was a county in Connecticut in the present day area of Wyoming Valley, Pennsylvania, until it was ceded to Pennsylvania in 1784, of which it now forms the northeastern corner. It briefly seceded to become the State of Westmoreland. It has no relationship to the current Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, which is located on the opposite side of Pennsylvania.
