Anjana Ahuja

Anjana Ahuja is a British Indian science journalist and columnist for "The Times". Ahuja read physics at Imperial College London, followed by a postgraduate course in space physics during which she worked on data about the Sun's magnetic field from the Ulysses probe.cite web|url=http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/columnists/anjana_ahuja|title=Anjana Ahuja|publisher=Times Online|accessdate=2007-05-14]

After receiving her PhD in 1994, she was hired by "The Times" as a graduate trainee journalist. Ahuja currently writes the weekly "Science Notebook" column in "The Times", although she is also a regular feature writer. Her articles have twice been nominated for the National Science Writing Awards, and won the 1998 EMMA award for Best Print Journalism. Ahuja has also served as a judge for The Aventis Prizes for Science Books and sits on committees on public awareness of science for the Royal Society and the British Association for the Advancement of Science, and ran a series of lectures between 1998 and 2002 for the Royal Institution, highlighting the research of young scientists.
