Camptodactyly

Camptodactyly is a medical condition involving fixed flexion deformity of the interphalangeal joints of the little finger. This involves permament flexure of one or more phlanges (fingers).

Causes

A number of congenital syndromes may cause camptodactyly: -

Etymology

The name is derived from the ancient Greek words "kamptos" ("bent") and "daktylos" ("finger").
