MimundoTV player

-based software using the PC for display of interactive TV (mhp v1.1.2.) and for the playback of various multimedia files. The software works under Linux, Microsoft XP and Microsoft Vista.

The mimundoTV player has a multi window structure available, i.e. a separate control and a freely scalable playback window as well as further windows (list- respectively chanelmanager, EPG and recordinglist). Every window has a docking function.

The software was designed for the operation with a digital TV card (respectively DVB-T USB Stick) with BDA driver and access to the internet.

Range of applications:

TV-Mode

In combination with a digital TV card and matching BDA drivers the user can play back digital TV signals (DVB-T/S/C) on a PC or laptop. With the computer connected to the internet interactive services based on mhp v1.1.2 may be displayed and used. Further features of the TV mode are TeleText, subtitles, digital personal video recorder (PVR), EPG transmitted by the broadcasting station and timeshift.

Radio-Mode

Playback of digital radio signals transmitted via DVB-T/S/C as well as internet streams.

Video-Mode

Playback of video files like MPEG-2, WMV, AVI, Flash and DVR-MS.

Music-Mode

Playback of music files like MP3, WAV, WMA and AC3.

Further features of the mimundoTV player

The software supports different language versions like English, German, Spanish and Italian. Furthermore it offers an automatic update function.

The mhp components are developed at the IRT (Institute for Broadcast Technology) in Munich, Germany and the software was certified by the Austian TUEV (Technical Monitoring Association) in configuration with a DVB-T hardware.
