"Ready or Not" / "Everytime" is the third single by the Anglo-Norwegian boy band a1. Both songs are off their album "Here We Come".

Unlike many boy bands of the time, a1 wrote and played instruments on many of the songs on their debut album and subsequent releases. The uptempo "Ready or Not" was written by all four band members, Ben Adams, Christian Ingebrigtsen, Paul Marazzi and Mark Read, with Peter Cunnah. "Ready or Not" is notable as a disco style song and features real violins. The ballad "Everytime" was written entirely by band members Adams, Ingebrigtsen and Read, with Read playing piano and keyboards on the track.

In the UK it was the third and most successful of four consecutive Top 10 singles off their debut album "Here We Come", peaking at #3.

Two versions of the double A-side single were released on CD in the UK, one featuring "Ready or Not" as the primary track and one listing "Everytime" first, but featuring two remixes of "Ready or Not". In Germany, "Everytime" was released as a single A-side, with bonus tracks that did not include "Ready or Not".

The song was used in an episode of BBC sitcom "Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps", when Janet left Jonny.
