Next single = "Get It On (Bang A Gong)" (1985) "Some Like It Hot" is a song recorded by Power Station. It was the first single released from the group's 1985 eponymous debut album. It was released by Parlophone Records in 1985 and featured heavy use of the drums with Roger Taylor providing percussion. It was the band's biggest hit, peaking at number six on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The video featured a transsexual model.

The song has featured on many compilation albums, and can also be found on Robert Palmer's greatest hits collection "Addictions". It was performed live with Palmer only once in 1985. On his 1986 world tour, Palmer often performed a re-worked version of the song during the show. Recordings of this tour (in support of "Riptide") are scarce, but one such concert was radio-simulcast for the Westwood One Radio Networks and can be found as a bootleg.

The song was also performed by Duran Duran on their 1987 Strange Behaviour tour, alongside Arcadia's Election Day as a mini "spin off band showcase".

The song was also featured in the movie "National Lampoon's European Vacation" during the scene when Rusty daydreams he is a hotshot at a dance club.

However, the song was played live in 1997 by the Power Station with Palmer, even though John Taylor was absent.
