List of rugby union incidents

The following is a listing of all off-field incidents that have received media coverage, particularly those involving footballers from rugby union competitions in Australia, France, New Zealand, South Africa and the United Kingdom.

He was later thrown out of their World Cup training squad because of the incident.

* A bouncer at a Sydney nightclub claimed that South African Springbok captain John Smit hurled racial abuse at him. * Australian Wallaby international Justin Harrison called Cats winger Chumani Booi as a "stinking black cunt" while in a Super 12 fixture.
