Winona County is a county located in the U.S. state of Minnesota. As of 2000, the population was 49,985. Its county seat is WinonaGR|6.

Geography

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 642 square miles (1,662 km²), of which, 626 square miles (1,622 km²) of it is land and 15 square miles (40 km²) of it (2.38%) is water.
