GCGC

GCGC

A GCGC, or "Good Catch of Gujju Community" is an acronym coined by the Bollywood Movie, Kal Ho Naa Ho. Once a GCGC marries, he or she officially renounces his or her status as a GCGC.

The word "gujju" refers to a member of the Gujarati language community, which is one who is originally from the state of Gujarat, India. However, the term has now gained wider use in the states of Maharastra and Andhra Pradesh.

The largest city of Gujarat is Ahmedabad, named after the ruler Ahmed Shah. (Shah means "King" in Persian.)
