Oro Valley Public Library

The Oro Valley Public library is an affiliate of the Pima County Public Library system and is located at 1305 W. Naranja Drive in the town of Oro Valley outside Tucson, Arizona. The original structure opened on July 31, 2002. The library "endeavors to provide resources, services, programs, and activities to meet or address the cultural, educational, and recreational needs and desires of Oro Valley and surrounding communities while encouraging interaction among citizens," [cite web| url = http://www.townoforovalley.com/library/PDF%20files/Library%20Plan%20--%20Approved.pdf.| title= Oro Valley Public Library's Planning for Results Library Plan] according to its stated mission.

The library received a Library Services and Technology Act or LSTA grant in the amount of $26,000 that allowed the creation of a computer classroom where members of the community receive training and classes. The classroom opened on September 6, 2006. In addition, a $50,000 commitment from the Friends of the Oro Valley Public Library provides wireless internet access to library users.
