Lolita De La Colina was a popular singer/songwriter from the 70's based in Mexico. She has written songs for
Manoella Torres ,Lupita D'Alessio ,Sophy ,José José ,José Luis Rodríguez "El Puma" ,Daniela Romo ,Arianna ,Stephanie Salas to name a few. (ADD)Lolita de la Colina recorded her own compositions in some LP's from the Mexicana, Profono, Gamma, musart, Tico and RCA companies. Some of them were released too by ARCANO records. Her Lp's were: "En un cuarto de Hotel", "Sucede que hay un Dios" (1979), "Que mas te puedo dar" (1979) "La noche mas linda del Mundo" (1980) "Usted y Yo"(1982), "La mejor noche de Bodas" and "Consigueme". Her composition named "Como tu" won third place in the OTI festival 1978 in Chile. Her song "Perdon" was in the first place of the hit parade in Puerto Rico for couples of month in the voice of Sophy Hernandez. Rafael( the Spaniard) recorded her unforgettable song "Tu nombre me lo callo". "Me muero, me muero" was recorded by the Cuban singer Olga Guillot. Her songs "Senora de Madrugada" and "Ya no regreso contigo" were great hits in the Salsa tempo by Tito Rojas and Roberto Blades.
