William Blamire

William Blamire

William Blamire (born 1790) was a British politician.

Born in Thackwood Nook in Cumberland, he was the son of William Blamire and Jane Christian. Blamire was High Sheriff of Cumberland in 1828. From 1831 to 1832, he was Member of Parliament (MP) for Cumberland and from 1832 to 1836 for East Cumberland. Blamire married in 1834 and became Chief Tithe Commissioner in 1836.
