San Francisco Gold Rush

San Francisco Gold Rush

The San Francisco Goldrush are the cheerleading squad of the San Francisco 49ers. They were founded in 1983 as one of the first professional cheerleading squads for a professional football team. Not only have they performed throughout the United States, but they are very much involved in many charitable events. They have been broadcast on many television stations such as ESPN, "Entertainment Tonight", MTV, "Extra!", "The Leeza Show", The Total Football Network, and the FOX Network. They attend every home game and expanded from 36 girls to a total of 40 in 2001.
