State Route 19 is a 35-mile long route in the northwestern part of the state. The southern terminus of the route is at the junction with State Route 17 at Detroit in northern Lamar County. The northern terminus of the route is at its junction with State Route 24 at Red Bay in Franklin County near the border between Alabama and Mississippi.
