Henry Wingham was a Lord Chancellor of England and Bishop of London.

Life

He was selected as Chancellor on January 5 1255. His office was renewed by the baronial reformers in 1258, but he was replaced on October 18 1260 by Nicholas of Ely.Powicke "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 83] He held the prebend of Newington in the diocese of London as well as being a member of the papal chapel and the dean of St Martin le Grand. He died on July 13 1262 or July 14 1262. He was definitely dead by July 16 1262.
