German submarine U-35 (1936)

Unterseeboot 35 (usually abbreviated to U-35) was a German Type VIIA U-boat built before World War II.

"U-35" was built at the Germaniawerft in Kiel during 1936, and was ready for service later the same year.

Fate

On November 29 1939 "U-35" was scuttled by its crew in the North Sea, in position coord|60|53|N|02|47|E|scale:10000000, after a depth charge attack from the British destroyers HMS Kingston, HMS Icarus and HMS Kashmir. All 43 hands on board survived.
