He was guitarist for a multitude of bands including Xerox Girls (punk - 1992), Photographing Girls ( psychedelic pop/rock - 1992-4), Three Days By Camel (Instrumental/experimental 1993-4), Salem Orchid (Death/black metal 1994 - Precursor to Akercocke) and most recently Bassist with British progressive blackened death metal band Akercocke (1997-2007).
He was also responsible for the design and artwork for the band Akercocke throughout his whole career with them

His surprise departure on January 2007 left Akercocke to fill the role with Peter Benjamin (ex-Corpsing)
