Norman A. "Norrie" Claxton (1877–1951), was a sportsman from South Australia. He represented South Australia in Cricket and North Adelaide in the SANFL and had a keen interest in Baseball, Cycling and Athletics. The annual Australian Baseball Championships bear his name as the Claxton Shield.
