The Hague University of Applied Sciences (in Dutch: De Haagse Hogeschool, abbreviated HHS) is a university of applied sciences located in The Hague, The Netherlands. It was founded in 1987 after 14 smaller institutions in The Hague merged, some of these institutions date from the 19th century.

Locations & Building

The Hague University has four locations:
* Campus Laakhaven, the main location.
* Laan van Poot, the location for sport studies.
* Rijswijk, formerly Technische Hogeschool Rijswijk until the merger in 2003. An alternate location for technical studies.
* Zoetermeer, an alternative location for information technology studies.The Hague University is building a new building to replace the current Rijswijk location at the Delft University of Technology campus. Some technical studies from the Laakhaven campus will also be moved to this new location on its completion in 2009. International Programmes

The Hague University offers four full-time undergraduate degree programmes and 4 master degree programmes entirely in English. Most of these study programmes include exchange semesters and work placements abroad. Furthermore, 47 bachelor degree programmes and 12 master degree programmes are offered in Dutch.

Especially the international programmes give the university a unique standing in Europe's educational landscape. One of these degree courses is the HEBO-faculty's European Studies programme. Fragmented in two respectively three different specialisations, HEBO-students are trained to satisfy employer's increasing demand in executives with an international background.
