Team Trafikk is the bus company in Trondheim, Norway and is owned by Nettbuss. The company has 200 buses, 580 employees, a revenue of NOK 270 million and a daily ridership of ca 60,000 passengers. The company receives subsidies from the City of Trondheim for their operations. The city tramway is operated by Gråkallbanen AS while buses out of town are operated by other companies.

History

Team Trafikk was created in 2001 when the municapally owned Trondheim Trafikkselskap and the Kyrksæterøra-based and Orkla-owned Hemne og Orkladal Billag (HOB) were merged. Both the previous owners later sold their shares to the Norwegian State Railway subsidiary Nettbuss. After the take-over Nettbuss transferred the non-Trondheim operations to Nettbuss Trøndelag AS and kept the Trondheim operations in Team Trafikk.

Routes

All bus routes in Trondheim go via the terminal at Munkegata/Dronningens gate in the city center. Some buses also continue on to Trondheim Central Station. The lines 3-9 are higher frequency commuter buses while two digit numbers have lower frequencies. Line 1 is the tram, Gråkallbanen.

Bus fleet

Team operates a mix of 210 Volvo, MAN and Scania buses of varying age.
