"Under One Roof" is a short-lived American drama series that aired on CBS in 1995.

ynopsis

"Under One Roof" follows the lives of three generations of an upper middle class African American family sharing a house in Seattle, Washington. The patriarch of the family, Nesbit "Neb" Langston (James Earl Jones), is a recently retired and widowed police officer who has adopted a troubled 16-year-old foster child, Marcus (Merlin Santana). Neb's adult son, Ron, is an ex-Marine who is attempting to deal with the stress of opening his own business. Meanwhile, Ron's wife Maggie (Vanessa Bell Calloway) is having reservations about re-entering the work world after being a stay-at-home mom for the couple's two children, son Derrick (Ronald Joshua Scott), a ten-year-old diabetic, and daughter Charlie (Essence Atkins), their 15-year-old daughter, for twenty years. Neb's other child, Ayesha (Monique Ridge), also lives with the family.

The series, which was a midseason replacement for CBS, lasted six episodes.
