ReadSoft is a Swedish software company, established in 1991, that develops software for Document Automation and process optimization, including document and data capture, integration with ERP (such as from SAP AG or Oracle Corporation) and subsequent workflow. ReadSoft operates in 16 countries within Europe, North America, South America, Asia and Australia. Globally headquartered in Sweden, ReadSoft is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

ReadSoft Document Automation involves data extraction (optical character recognition) from paper and electronic documents, integration with company ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and routing to company agents for approvals & problem resolution via workflow. ReadSoft brands this software platform as ReadSoft DOCUMENTS. ReadSoft maintains SAP and Oracle competency/development centers which provide integrated solutions for companies with SAP or Oracle, respectively. Customers include global enterprises, as well as local companies. Market analyst firm Harvey Spencer Associates reports ReadSoft with a 16% market share.
