The Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album was awarded in 1968 and since 1995. The award has had two minor name changes:

*In 1968 the award was known as Best Contemporary Album
*From 1995 to 2000 it was awarded as Best Pop Album
*Since 2001 it has been awarded as Best Pop Vocal Album
