"The Tale of Benjamin Bunny" was written and illustrated by Beatrix Potter in 1904.

Plot

The book deals with Benjamin and his cousin Peter Rabbit going to Mr McGregor's garden, while he is away, to find the clothes Peter lost in "The Tale of Peter Rabbit". They find them and gather some onions but Benjamin delays their departure while Peter, as a result of his previous experience, is nervous about staying. They are then caught by a cat, only to be rescued by Benjamin's father. He then proceeds to whip the boys with a switch before taking them home. Peter's mother forgives him since he has recovered his clothes, and Peter gives her the onions.

In their next appearances, Peter and Benjamin would be grown-up in "The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies" and "The Tale of Mr. Tod". Benjamin is voiced by Adrian Scarborough in the animated version of the tale.
