"I Feel So" was the first single released by Box Car Racer off their self-titled album. The single peaked at #8 on the U.S. Modern Rock Tracks Chart making it their highest and only charting single.

Music video

The music video for the song features scenes switching between the band playing in what appears to be a basement with "Box Car Racer" written in graffiti on the wall, and a young girl crying in her bedroom. The video achieved some airplay on MTV, and massive success on MTV2 and MuchMusic/Fuse TV. The video was directed by both singer Tom DeLonge and Nathan "Karma" Cox. The song in the video was much shorter than it was on the album. This is mostly due to the fact that the intro was shortened, and some instrumental bridges were taken out.
