Travis Wilson (softballer)

Travis Wilson (born 1977) is a New Zealand softball and baseball player. He represented his country at softball as a member of the national team (the Black Sox), gaining a gold medal as part of the world championship winning side in 1996.

Following this, he was scouted by American baseball team the Atlanta Braves, and spent eight years signed to the club, though rarely playing at the top level and spending most of his time at the Triple-A level. He returned to New Zealand to continue his softball career in 2005, and also performs coaching duties for the Black Caps (the New Zealand cricket team).
