Jeff Vogel is the president and primary programmer for the
Spiderweb Software company, which producesshareware computer game s for Macintosh and Windows PC platforms. Jeff currently lives inSeattle, Washington .To date, his most successful games have been the "Exile" series, its originally facelifted but since greatly expanded cousin the "Avernum" series, and the "Geneforge" series. In addition, he has also created
Nethergate , ,Blades of Exile , andBlades of Avernum .His personal site, Irony Central, is home to sarcastic social commentary, humor pieces, and the popular "The Story About the Baby". In "The Story About the Baby" and its in-progress followup "The Story About the Toddler", Vogel outlines all the good, bad, and outright strange things one encounters as a first-time parent. "
