Zyzzyva (magazine)

"ZYZZYVA" (ISSN|8756-5633) is a triquarterly journal of West Coast writers and artists. Based in city-state|San Francisco|California, it has been publishing since 1985 and is edited by Howard Junker. "ZYZZYVA"'s slogan is "The Last Word," referring to "zyzzyva," the last word in the American Heritage Dictionary. A zyzzyva is an American weevil. The accent is on the first syllable.
