Central Visayas State College of Agriculture, Forestry and Technology

The Central Visayas State College of Agriculture, Forestry and Technology (CVSCAFT) is a public institution of higher learning in Bohol, Philippines. The institution operates several campuses spread throughout the province, with the main campus in Zamora, Bilar, Bohol.

Established originally in 1998 by virtue of R.A 8659. The system was initially composed of five vocational/technical schools in the province of Bohol. These were the: Bohol Agriculture College (BAC)in Bilar; Bohol School of Arts and Trade (BSAT)in Tagbilaran City; Bohol School of Fisheries(BSF) in Cogtong, Candijay; Clarin School of Fisheries(CSF) in Clarin; and Calape National School of Fisheries(CNFS)in Calape. In 1999,however a sixth member of the system was added. The Calape Polytechnic College(CPC)was integrated by virtue of CHED Memo Order No. 18 series of 1999.

The CVSCAFT Main Campus is in Bilar located 42 kilometers from Tagbilaran City. It started as a Farm School in 1912, then Bilar Rural School in 1927 and later as Bohol National Agricultural School in 1960 by virtue of R.A 2793. The school was renamed Bohol Agricultural College in 1968 by virtue of R.A 5253. Bohol School of Arts and Trade (BSAT); the school was established in 1906. Started as Bohol Trade School and converted into a school of arts and trades in 1959. Bohol School of Fisheries(BSF) in Cogtong, Candijay; located 96 kilometers from Tagbilaran City. It was established in 1958 through R.A.865. Clarin School of Fisheries(CSF) in Clarin; located 61 kilometers from Tagbilaran City. It started as Clarin High School in 1948 and in July 1960, converted to School of Fisheries. Calape National School of Fisheries(CNFS) in Calape; formerly the Calape National School of Fisheries,the school was established in 1980 by late Mayor A.R. Tuazon,located 44 kilometers from Tagbilaran City. Calape Polytechnic College(CPC);the late Mayor Tuazon also founded the Calape Polytechnic College on June 1989 and nationalized on April 1992. By R.A 7370 through BOT resolution No.2 series of 1998 and CHED Memo Order 18 series of 1999,the said institution was integrated to the CVSCAFT system.
