Gregory Hoskins and the Stickpeople

Gregory Hoskins and the Stickpeople were a Canadian folk rock band in the 1990s, best known for their 1991 single "Neighbourhood". The band consisted of vocalist and guitarist Gregory Hoskins, backing vocalist Lynn Simmons, keyboardist George Civello, saxophonist Colleen Allen, bass guitarist Mike Fabello and drummer Michael Spencer-Arscott.

The band was originally formed in the late 1980s by Hoskins and saxophonist John McCormick, and in 1990 became the first new act signed to True North Records in six years. They released their debut album, "Moon Come Up", in 1991, followed by "Raids on the Unspeakable" in 1993.

Following their 1999 album "Surgery", the band parted ways. Hoskins released his first solo album, "King of Good Intentions", in 2001.
