Frederic W. Lincoln, Jr.

Frederic Walker Lincoln, Jr. (15 October 1898, New York City - 7 April 1968, Greenwich, Connecticut) was born the son of Frederic Walker Lincoln, Sr. and was married into the Rockefeller family. He was educated at Pomfret School, and graduated from Princeton University in 1921. Prior to graduation he served as a sergeant in the aviation section of the Army Signal Corps. Upon graduation, Lincoln joined the export-import firm H.W. Peabody & Co. He fought in World War II in the Naval Air Reserve, retiring with the rank of commander.

Lincoln was Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the New York Medical College and the Fowler and Fifth Avenue Hospital, until 1965. In the same year he was awarded an honorary degree from the New York Medical College.

He was married to Isabel, daughter of Percy Avery Rockefeller, and granddaughter of William Rockefeller and James Jewett Stillman. His children were Florence (married William Rockefeller, George Sloane, Bartow Farr), twins Frederic and Isabel, Hope (married Reginald Gorton Coombe), and Mary "Polly" (married to Sidney Linier)

He died in 1968.
