Huyton with Roby Urban District was a local government district in Lancashire, England from 1894 to 1974. [ [http://www.visionofbritain.org.uk/relationships.jsp?u_id=10002849&c_id=10001043 Vision of Britain] - Huyton with Roby UD unit history] It consisted of the civil parish of "Huyton with Roby" which comprised the settlements of Huyton and Roby. [ [http://www.visionofbritain.org.uk/bound_map_page.jsp?first=true&u_id=10368455&c_id=10001043 Vision of Britain] - Huyton with Roby parish boundaries] It replaced the Huyton with Roby urban sanitary district.

In 1974 it was abolished and its former area was transferred to Merseyside [Arnold-Baker, C., "Local Government Act 1972", (1973)] to be combined with that of Kirkby Urban District, Prescot Urban District, parts of Whiston Rural District and parts of West Lancashire Rural District to form the present-day Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley.
