Alen Škoro (born March 30, 1981 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, then Yugoslavia) is a Bosnian footballer, currently playing for NK Rijeka in Prva HNL. He has made 2 appearances for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team.

Career

Škoro came through the youth set up at Sarajevo with great promise, but ufortunatly has never been able to live up to his potential. Only whilst playing in Bosnia has Alen ever been a prolific goal scorer and his spells in France and Austria did not go as well as everyone would have hoped. He is now back in Eastern Europe and has started the season very well for Rijeka.On the 5th of July Škoro was linked to English side Leeds United in a £500,000 move according to a local newspaper in Rijeka, Alen Škoro's agent has played down a move until the clubs can agree a fee. When asked about Leeds United Alen replied with "is that the biggest club in Yorkshire?".
