Jack Baldschun

Jack Edward Baldschun (born October 16, 1936 in Greenville, Ohio) was a relief pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies (1961-65), Cincinnati Reds (1966-67) and San Diego Padres (1969-70).

He led the National League in games (65) in by|1961.

During the 1965-1966 offseason, he was traded to the Baltimore Orioles, but never played for them, as he was then traded to the Cincinnati Reds as part of the deal which sent Frank Robinson to the Orioles.

In nine seasons he had a 48-41 record in 457 games, with 60 saves, 704 innings pitched, 45 home runs allowed, 298 walks allowed (including 67 intentional walks), 555 strikeouts, 23 hit batsmen, 49 wild pitches and a 3.69 ERA.
