nihongo|Lady Une|レディ・アン|Redi An is a major character in the anime series New Mobile Report Gundam Wing, and is the loyal aide to Treize Khushrenada. She is voiced by Sayuri (JPN) and Enuka Okuma (ENG). Une is french for one.

Biography

Afflicted with multiple personality disorder for most of the series, Lady Une is actually two different personalities in one woman's body. With her glasses on, and her hair up, she assumes the personality of "Colonel Une", a strict taskmaster and right hand officer of Treize Khushrenada. But when the glasses come off and her hair comes down, she becomes "Saint Une" (perhaps a play on the French "Cent-et-un", one hundred and one), a gentle and soft-spoken champion of peace. Her personalities first split when Treize, whom she loves, calls her uncultured in the incident when Wing Gundam self-detonates.

Coma and the Eve Wars

Whether as Colonel or Saint, Une dutifully obeyed Treize's orders, leading her to confront Chief Engineer Tsuberov at the Lunar Base. Tsuberov intended to start mass-producing Mobile Dolls, and would stop at nothing to accomplish his goal. When Une attempted to put a halt to his plan, he shot her.

After being rescued, Une lay in a coma, being cared for by men loyal to Treize. When Treize took to the stars and decided to engage the White Fang, Une came out of her coma, escaped from the hospital, and raced to his side, her two personalities having apparently merged and escaped using the Wing Gundam to save Treize from sacrificing himself to the White Fang. During the final battle, she was unable to save Treize, Une watched the final battle aboard MO2, and witnessed Treize fall in combat against Chang Wufei. Afterwards Une announced that the World Nation was to surrender, but despite this, White Fang leader and former OZ pilot Zechs Merquise still refused to give up his plan to drop Libra onto the earth. Lady Une later was able to get Lucrezia Noin to submit the images of the battle between the OZ-13MS Gundam Epyon and XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero to the Colony delegation and seeing it was a pointless battle the Colony leaders made the announcement that they would choose to reject the White Fang's objectives and instead peacefully coexist with the World Nation.

Preventer

With the end of the war, the two halves of Une reconciled, and she became a single, whole person. She was chosen to lead the Preventer Corps in the new Earth Sphere United Nation.

After the rise and fall of the Mariemaia Army, she adopted Mariemaia Khushrenada, the love child of Treize Khushrenada and one of Dekim Barton's daughters, whom Dekim shot and paralyzed after his plans to rule the Earth Sphere were ruined.
