Transmitter information

The station broadcasts on 1395 kHz AM (215 m Medium Wave) from a transmitter in the Netherlands, [cite web|url=http://blogs.rnw.nl/medianetwork/%E2%80%98big-l-goes-dutch%E2%80%99-on-1395-khz|title=Big L goes Dutch’ on 1395 kHz|date=2007-09-30|accessdate=2007-12-07|publisher=Radio Netherlands Media Network blog] satellite and the Internet.

This transmitter was switched off on 1st August 2008 due to a lack of money for paying the very raised price of the oil needed for transmitting from this 1395 kHz-transmitter. According to the Big L's website it will be returning to 1395khz and during the period of it being off, it is their hope to improve the signal to reach more of the United Kingdom.
