Sant Darshan Singh (
14 September ,1921 –30 May ,1989 ) was aguru in the Sant-Mat lineage. He studied Sant-Mat under his spiritual guruBaba Sawan Singh , ofRadha Soami Satsang Beas and his fatherSant Kirpal Singh .He emphasized finding spiritual fulfillment in the context of modern life. He believed in
positive mysticism , pursuing spiritual goals while fulfilling all your obligations to family, society, and the world. He traveled to the West four times, in 1978, 1983, 1986, and 1988 to spreadpositive mysticism . In the process established 550 centers forScience of Spirituality in 40 countries. He helped people find peace, joy and harmony throughmeditation . His teachings were disseminated through lectures, seminars, books, and, especially, hismystic poetry . Known as the poet-saint of India, Sant Darshan Singh received four awards from theUrdu Academy of India for his mystic verse. He worked tirelessly to spread the message of his spiritual mentors throughout the world by publishing books translated into over 50 languages.See also
