Triakis tetrahedron

Triakis tetrahedron

A triakis tetrahedron is an Archimedean dual solid, or a Catalan solid. Its dual is the truncated tetrahedron.

It can be seen as a tetrahedron with triangular pyramids added to each face. This interpretation is expressed in the name.
