Frazer Yeats (real name George Brown) is a fictional character in the Network Ten soap opera "Neighbours", portrayed by actor Ben Lawson from October 2006 to April 2008.

Character's background

Entrance

To increase the chance of getting a room at Number 30, Frazer and Pepper Steiger (Nicky Whelan) agreed to pretend that they were engaged. The plan seemed to work, and they both got a room at the house. However, it was hard to break it off, because Pepper told her parents that they were engaged, and they were both excited. Her father Allan (Joe Clements) put a lot of pressure onto Frazer, even to the point of taking him on a camping trip (though Frazer brought Will Griggs (Christian Clark) along). Allan did a police check on Frazer, and it was revealed that there was no record of a Frazer Yeats, meaning that he had a fake name. Pepper questioned Frazer about this, and he said that he wanted to get away from his family, so he changed his name. Allan and Chris (Trudy Hellier) threw an engagement party, and Zeke Kinski (Matthew Werkmeister) tried to announce that it was fake, because apparently Pepper told Zeke that she loved him, though it was revealed that she had been sleepwalking.

Frazer became friends with Will and Ned (Daniel O'Connor), and he told them about the fact that he is a professional gambler. During one race that he was betting on, he was accidentally injured by Janae Hoyland (Eliza Taylor-Cotter) when she threw a spanner into the air, and hit him on the head, knocking him out. Frazer managed to pay for Carmella Cammeniti's (Natalie Blair) face operation, after she had a pot of boiling water thrown onto her face by her cousin Teresa (Hannah Greenwood).

Rosetta Cammeniti

Shortly after Frazer and Pepper broke off the fake engagement, Frazer fell in love with his other female housemate, Rosetta (Natalie Saleeba). He had originally wanted to move into number 30 because he knew Rosie would be there, and was determined to get his hands on her family's money. His brother Johnny had previously been engaged to Rosie. But Frazer fell in love with Rosie for real. Rosetta disliked Frazer at first, and she was attracted to Will, who was with Carmella. Pepper managed to convince Rosie to give Frazer a chance, as she was unsuccessful herself the whole way. Rosie and Frazer eventually started liking each other, however due to Rosie being a virgin, which he overheard her telling Pepper, she was nervous about everything. Rosie had an affair with Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), which she half regretted because Paul was meant to be getting married to Lyn Scully (Janet Andrewartha). Frazer comforted Rosie during the stage, and he took her out for a drive on the day of Paul and Lyn's wedding. Paul broke up with Lyn just hours after the ceremony (which led to Lyn leaving the show). Rosie tried to seduce Frazer by wearing sexy lingerie, but he laughs at this, thinking it's a joke, but Rosie gets awkward. Later, they kiss, but Frazer breaks it off by saying that he has an appointment. Frazer goes to Rosie's office to give her flowers and apologizes for walking off from her, but finds that she's with Paul. Frazer again apologies and asks her out, but Rosie rejects him and says that she just wants to be alone for a while.

Frazer Vs. Paul

Rosie could not decide between Frazer and Paul, so Pepper decided that they should have a competition to see who is better. Rosie's first date is with Paul, and it goes well until she realizes that he was using her to get her into bed. She next dates Frazer, and, despite Paul's attempts to sabotage the date, it goes well. Frazer discovered several pieces of paper written by Rosie, with pros and cons about him and Paul. He finds out that there are more cons than pros about him and more pros than cons for Paul. He meets up with Paul and Pepper to determine who has the next date. He ends up having the next date. However, he talks to Rosie about the paper and she explains that it’s her way of thinking things through. He decides in the end to call off the competition. However, when it seemed that Rosie had won Paul, she broke up with him after a phone call from Oscar (Ingo Dammer-Smith), Lyn's son, and she realized that it would be wrong to date Paul, as he only just separated from Lyn. She also realized that she wanted someone to spend the rest of her life with, and that person couldn't be Paul. She decided to stay with Frazer.

Relationships

After Frazer and Rosie were officially declared a couple, things were going well for them. Rosie fell ill for a short time and Frazer looked after her well. They spent Valentine's Day together, along with witnessing Elle Robinson (Pippa Black) break up with Dylan Timmins (Damien Bodie) after finding him in bed with Carmella. They split up not long after, but decided to stay good friends.

Frazer's little brother Ringo (Sam Clark) moved to Erinsborough in January 2007 and now resides with Frazer, Rosie and Pepper.

A short while after this Frazer started dating Milly who he met at Scarlet Bar. Tensions mounted at number 30 when the housemates accused Milly of stealing from them (it later turned out to be Lolly) and Pepper became angry at Frazer for neglecting Rosie's feelings.

Paralysis

While at the race track with Rosie in early 2007, Frazer was trampled by a horse while rescuing a young girl who had run out onto the track. This left him paralyzed from the waist down, and he reluctantly accepted Rosie's help through this ordeal after Milly dumped him because she didn't want the burden. Rosie told Frazer she wanted a relationship with him, he told her they should just remain friends. After much anticipation, Frazer and Rosie finally got back together and became engaged in May. Frazer has now completely recovered from his injuries.

Paul Brown

The following month, Frazer was told by doctors that his inability to walk was psychological, much to Frazer's shock. The following week, while visiting his grandparents' graves, Frazer was horrified to find a tombstone commemorating a thirteen-month-old brother, Paul, that Frazer did not know existed. It was eventually revealed that Frazer had let Paul drown when they were children. Being only three years old at the time, there wasn't much he could do, and though he was obviously terrified at the sight, his parents always blamed him.

After Ned's son Mickey was electrified in the no. 30 pool with no one around but Frazer, Frazer hurled himself in and pulled Mickey out, saving his life. However, Frazer used his legs to push himself to the surface. Since then, Frazer has been able to feel his legs a little, moving his toe and his foot. At first, he didn't tell Rosie about this, not wanting to raise either of their hopes. Oliver found out, after a Bull Ant bit Frazer, but promised not to tell. Pepper also found out, after she saw Frazer tapping his foot in time to music. She demanded that he tell Rosie, and Frazer did so.

Marriage

The venue for Frazer and Rosie's wedding told them that they would be shutting for a year for renovations, so they had to either postpone the wedding or bring it forward. They decided to bring it forward, leaving them with only a week to plan the wedding. Frazer had to resign himself to the new 'Bridezilla' Rosie.

They married on 23rd July 2007, on the day several much anticipated changes take place in "Neighbours". At the wedding Frazer managed to stand up by himself and then managed to take a step towards Rosie at the altar, since then he has been walking with the aid of cane. However, their wedding day is marred by the news they receive on their wedding night. Their friends have been involved in a bus crash while driving home from the wedding. The crash left many of their friends injured, and Frazer's little brother Ringo in a coma.

Children

Recently Frazer decided he wanted to start a family with Rosie. After a few disagreements they decided that they weren't ready yet because of Rosie's career and Frazer still feels he could not cope after what happened with his brother Paul. However in February 2008, Rosie finds out, much to her distress that she is pregnant. Frazer tells her that if she can't raise the baby - he will-as a sole parent. After Frazer said this Rosie said that she would give the parenting a go because she wanted to keep the marriage. Rosie and Frazer are now both looking forward to having the baby, but once they go for an ultrasound and cannot find a heart beat they are hit with the devastating news that there is no baby. However once they decide to go for a second opinion they realise there is a baby. After quite a few months in Italy, Rosie had her next scan. After a while then she had her baby boy who they called Marco.

Departure and Return

In late April, Rosie and Frazer leave for a trip to Italy.

Frazer is set to return to Ramsay Street in April 09 following the birth of his and his wife's, Rosie's, first child- a little baby boy called Marco
