Uri Zohar

Uri Zohar

Rabbi Uri Zohar (born 1935, Tel Aviv, Mandate of Palestine) founded and heads Lev LeAchim. He was a famous Israeli film director, actor, and comedian prior to becoming a baal teshuva [ [http://books.google.com/books?id=obTYDj0rNZgC&pg=PA148&lpg=PA148&dq=uri+zohar+baal+teshuva&source=web&ots=VnrldX23iw&sig=8_VGOS22q0vO3fZeWTCAIlYDW-o] ] .

He was one of the most influential film-makers in Israeli cinema. Among his famous films: "Hor Ba Levana" (a hole in the moon), "Metzitzim" (peeping toms), and "Einaim gdolot" (big eyes).
