__NOTOC__Białogard County ( _pl. powiat białogardzki) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in West Pomeranian Voivodeship, north-western Poland. It was created on January 1, 1999 as a result of the Local Government Reorganization Act of 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is Białogard, which lies convert|113|km|mi|0 north-east of the regional capital Szczecin. The only other town in the county is Karlino, lying convert|9|km|mi|0|abbr=on north-west of Białogard.

The county covers an area of convert|845.36|km2|sqmi|1. As of 2006 its total population is 48,241, out of which the population of Białogard is 24,339, that of Karlino is 5,794, and the rural population is 18,108.

Neighbouring counties

Białogard County is bordered by Koszalin County to the north, Szczecinek County to the south-east, Świdwin County to the south and Kołobrzeg County to the north-west.

The county is subdivided into four gminas (one urban, one urban-rural and two rural). These are listed in the following table, in descending order of population.
