Evacuation is a television series broadcast on CBBC in the UK.

It is a reality show for children, in which six boys and six girls from cities, all aged 12, are taken back to wartime Britain, where their lives are changed dramatically. For two weeks, they live just as evacuees in World War II would have done.

The show is presented by former "Blue Peter" presenter Matt Baker, who in Series One occasionally steps in to speak to and/or help the children when no other adults are there and also sometimes interacts briefly with the adults during his pieces to camera. However, in Series Two, there is a slight change in the format: Matt mainly does pieces to camera (still occasionally interacting with the adults) and stays very much in the background.

This time, the children were evacuated to Pradoe Hall, and begin to learn about the class divide in the 1940s, working in the servants' quarters under the watchful eye of butler Mr. Henderson as opposed to the luxury of the rich.

The children who were 'evacuated' to the manor house were:

*Episode 1: The children arrived at Pradoe Hall, where they experienced their first taste of 1940s clothes and food, as well as learning about class.
*Episode 2: The girls cooked, picked flowers and polished silverware, while the boys polished shoes, milked goats and cleared up muck. They then (except for Sam) got to enjoy a special luncheon with Lady Olstead.
*Episode 3: The boys discover how unfair life in the 1940s can be when the girls receive a special invite to afternoon tea with Lady Olstead while they have to build a fire.Episode 4: Sunday is not the day of rest for the modern-day evacuees. Miss Young is determined to get them fit, which means an early start for a 1940s-style workout. A good old-fashioned fry-up brings a smile to their face, but not for long, as they soon discover they've got to sing in front of the whole village at church.
