The Staten Island Institute of Arts & Sciences (SIIAS), commonly known as the Staten Island Museum, is a museum and educational institution in the borough of

It was founded in1881 and located on the northeastern tip of the island, the institute was founded with a mission of collecting and exhibiting objects and themes of artistic merit, scientific, and historical value to the people of Staten Island.The institute's collections include over two million
