Diplomatic missions of Denmark

Diplomatic missions of Denmark

Denmark maintains 80 embassies abroad, and the diplomatic network today reflects a modern strategy in many Western countries to maximise efficiency and relevance [http://www.um.dk/en/menu/AboutUs/Organisation/TheEfficiencyEnhancementStrategy] . For example Denmark only has a Consulate General in the capitals of many countries, saving the Danish government the cost of added expense of ambassadors.Fact|date=June 2008
