Greenall's

Greenall's

Greenall's Brewery started in 1762. Initially based in St. Helens, they relocated to Warrington in 1787. In 1978 it took over Shipstone's brewery. It ceased brewing in 1991 to concentrate on running pubs and hotels. All Greenall's owned brands were brewed by Allied at their Leeds and Burton plant. Currently, early 2002, Greenall's brands are brewed at the now Carlsberg-Tetley owned Leeds brewery.

Greenall's sponsored Newcastle United Football Club from 1986 until 1990.
