Fight Night

"Fight Night" is the name of several boxing video games.

One game, published by U.S. Gold, was released for Atari ST and Commodore 64 in the late 1980s. The game included both a single player mode and multi player mode. Also featured was the ability for the player to customize the player's boxer. In total, there were about twelve boxers to beat. The version on the Atari 7800 is especially clunky and slow paced.

An unrelated game with a similar name is "Fight Night 2004", produced by EA Sports. The game has been followed by "" and "Fight Night Round 3". 2k Sports has not picked up the series, but are making their own boxing game called , which is scheduled to release in Spring 2008. EA Sports has confirmed that EA Canada is making a Fight Night Round 4 since EA Chicago studios shutdown, EA Sports confirmed that Fight Night Round 4 will be released in 2009.

"Fight Night" is also the title of a long running ITV programme broadcasting boxing fights on British television. In the eighties, it promoted the careers of boxers like Errol Christie whose fights featured on ITV and not the rival BBC. The programme still broadcasts today.
